A couple's winter holiday vacation to Switzerland goes awry during a skiing excursion when the husband injured his knee. Here is how Global Travel Plus assisted these members in returning home after the major injury and what the members have to say about the services.

When Nicole injured her leg during her romantic getaway to Florida with her husband, Global Travel Plus was there to guide her and get her back home safely. Upon returning home, she shared her experience with the team and this is what she has to say.

Situation: A Global Travel Plus member was visiting his daughter studying abroad in Ireland, when his chronic liver disease flared up, resulting in two seizures. Global Travel Plus was able to repatriate the member back to the United States, allowing him receive his treatment close to home. 

 

Rob* had traveled with his wife from their home in Florida to Virginia via RV. While hiking in Virginia, however, he fractured his femur. Surgery to repair the femur was completed in Virginia, however he’d need assistance returning home, and his wife did not feel comfortable filling Rob’s role in piloting the RV home.
