The 10 Most Beautiful Tropical Beaches in the World

In the midst of the winter, we all are in some need of Vitamin D. Unfortunately, not all of us have the chance to travel to exotic places so we decided to reminisce warm and sunny memories by asking our team members to choose one beach which they visited and fell in love with. Here is our Top 10 Beast Beaches in the World with beaches tried and approved by yours truly.

Grande Anse Beach in Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe is a French Island in the Southern Carribbean Sea composed of a mountainous side and a flat and more arid part. Grande Anse beach is located north of the hilly part of the island. Tip from our team member: "Don't expect fancy amenities on Guadeloupe's beaches. You'll be seduced by the wilderness of the beach and the calm turquoise water."

Playa Benijo in Tenerife

Tenerife is the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, off West Africa. With its lunar landscape, black sand and rocks coming out from the sea, Playa Benijo might be the most unusual beach of our list. Be careful with young ones as waves and current can be strong. This beach is however a great spot for surfers!

Palombaggia Beach in Corsica

Corsica is a French Island off the Mediterranean Coast with many Carribbean-like sandy beaches. Palombaggia Beach is one of the longest beach in Corsica, stretching over 1 mile. An advice from one of our team member who has had the chance to spend many vaccations there: "Beaches in Corsica often have what is called "paillotte", small beach restaurants and bars which also rent beach chairs and umbrellas. If you want to enjoy a relaxing and fun day at the beach, I suggest renting chairs for the days and order food and drinks from the restaurant! A true vacation experience!"

Fort Zachary Taylor State Park in Key West, Florida

Located at the very end of the Keys, the beach is part of Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. Completed in 1866, Fort Zachary Taylor played important roles in the Civil War and Spanish-American War. Our advice is to make a day out of this trip. Tour the fort and enjoy a bike ride along the nature trails before enjoying a picnic on the park's beautiful beach.

Playa Ruinas in Tulum, Mexico

When you are at Playa Ruinas, you can either stare at bright turquoise waters or look behind and discover 13-th century old Mayan ruins and temples. This is the ideal beach for those who don't like to lay on a beach to long but like to take a stroll once in a while. If you travel to Tulum, make sure to always have some cash on you as a lot of restaurants and shops are cash only. Make sure you keep the rest of the cash in a safe back at the hotel.

Vernazza, Cinque Terre in Italy

Vernazza is one of the five small coastal villages of Cinque Terre, on the western shores of Italy. The villages have become well-known and popular for their bright buildings and townhouses, rocky cliffs, luxurious valleys and clear waters. A member of our team had the chance to hike from a village to another during a 4 day-trip and here is what she has to say: "I strongly advise anyone I meet to go to Cinque Terre. However, don't do like we did and do not travel in the middle of summer planning on hiking with a heavy backpack. Choose to visit Cinque Terre in May, beginning of June or September when it is less busy and temperatures are more reasonable. For those who do not wish to walk, there is a train that takes you from a village to another in just a few minutes. And the trains have AC!"

Sugar Beach is a small private resort beach nestled between the twin peaks which give the beach a very dramatic and extraordinary feel.
